Where Passion Meets Purpose
Rainbow Kindy is founded by passionate teachers with a lifelong commitment to education—not business. Our founder, Ms Ling Ling, has spent her career teaching children from birth to age 18 across Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia. Her dream has always been to create a centre where early childhood education is about nurturing young minds, not making profits.
Meet Our Founder
With over 35 years of experience across Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia, Ms Ling has devoted her life to education—from birth to adolescence. But her deepest calling has always been early childhood.
“I didn’t build Rainbow Kindy to run a business. I built it to honour children’s spirits, to create a sanctuary where love and learning walk hand in hand.” – Ling-Ling, Founder & Director
When she moved to Sydney in 2005, she made a vow: any centre she created would be rooted in values, not profit. Rainbow Kindy is the fulfillment of that promise—a purpose-built haven for just 32 children, where quality always comes before quantity.
At Rainbow Kindy, community is not a concept—it’s a living practice. We believe children thrive when they feel deeply connected to those around them. That’s why we build respectful, trusting relationships with families, educators, and the wider world.
We honour every family's story, culture, and language. Whether it’s through shared meals, parent rituals, or open conversations, we create spaces where everyone feels heard and valued.
Our Community Garden is a symbol of this connection. Children learn to care for plants, share harvests, and understand that giving—even in small ways—can ripple outward with love.
“When a child feels safe in their community, they grow roots and wings. That’s the kind of belonging we cultivate.” – Ling-Ling
We welcome families as co-educators, and we see every interaction as a chance to build empathy, joy, and mutual respect.
Our Philosophy
Learning Through Love, Guided by Purpose.
At Rainbow Kindy, we see each child as a capable, unique individual. Our educators guide children through play-based learning, exploring early concepts like numbers, letters, and life skills in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.
We believe in:
We are not just preparing children for school—we are helping shape the future.
